Drummer, Piano player, Songwriter, Producer, Teacher, Karl is first and foremost a lover of music. He has had this love his whole life, and needs to share it with the world. Karl has been playing drums since the age of nine, piano since twelve, and has been actively playing in bands most of his life. He loves to perform and compose, but also has a passion for recording, producing and mixing. It helps that he also happens to excel in all of these areas as well. Karl graduated from Winona State University in the winter of 2010 with a degree in Music Business. He lives in St. Paul, MN, and is very active in the twin cities music scene. He performs with the bands Underdub, Apartment 4, and The Sugarloaf Gang. In the past, he has also performed with Winona bands such as MoonDawg and We Are the Branches. On the drums, he specializes in Jazz, Rock, Funk and Hip-Hop. On the keys, he specializes in Jazzy R&B, Funk, Dance and Pop. He is also is a uniquely talented vocalist. His vocal work can be heard in his bands Underdub and Apartment 4, both of which he is the lead singer and frontman.
